Meeting minutes of December 7, 2004
The Idaho State Cosmetology Board meeting was called to order at 8:05p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, Owyhee Plaza, 1109 Main Street, Suite 220, Boise, Idaho.

Moved by Eric Negaard that the requested hours for Amanda Ropp will be denied and the Board is affirmative to the requirements of Law and Rule and will not award training hours to students who are not properly registered per rule 500.9. Seconded by Geneal Thompson and carried.
FORMAL DISCIPLINARY ACTION
COS-2004-23: Moved by Eric Negaard that the Idaho Cosmetology Board will accept Ms. Warner’s request for payment arrangements for the investigative costs and attorney fees. Such payments shall be received by the 10th day of each month, in monthly installments in the amount of $500. If such payments have not been received on time, the Board will require that the remaining balance be paid in full. Seconded by Linda Swope and carried.
COS-2004-26: Moved by Geneal Thompson that Respondents request to reconsider Final Order is denied. Seconded by Joni Huff and carried.
COS-2004-18: Moved by Joni Huff to accept the Hearing Officers Findings of Fact, Conclusions Of Law and Recommended Order in the matter of Jonathon Nguy, owner of Nails 2002. Respondent’s licenses NT-2009 and CS-6219 will be suspended for a period of one year. After the one-year suspension period respondent’s licenses will be placed on probation for a period of five years. Respondent Jonathon Nguy shall pay a fine in the amount of $1000 and pay $1,377.96 for investigation costs and attorney fees. Payments must be received within sixty days of the Final Order. Seconded by Linda Swope and carried.
Eric Negaard has recused himself from discussion and voting rights in case no. COS-2004-18.
