The Idaho State Cosmetology Board meeting was called to order at 2:01 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2006 at the Bureau of Occupational Licenses, Owyhee Plaza, 1109 Main Street, Suite 220, Boise, Idaho.

 

Roll Call:                   Geneal Thompson, Board Member

Linda Swope, Board Member

Joan (Joni) Huff, Board Member - by telephone

 

Bureau Staff:          Budd Hetrick, Deputy Bureau Chief

                                    Marcie McGinty, Investigations Coordinator    

 

Eric Negaard, Chair and Mary Lambert, Board Member, absent, excused.

 

FORMAL DISCIPLINARY ACTION

 

Budd Hetrick, Deputy Bureau Chief presented and discussed an Order of Emergency Suspension in the license matters of Khai Quang Le and Sang Phuoc Le, Owner of Nail Art, Case Nos. COS-2005-1 and COS-2006-6 & 7.

 

After full discussion and review, it was moved by Linda Swope to accept the Emergency Suspension as written for all three case numbers and to authorize Geneal Thomson to sign as acting chair on behalf of the Board.  Seconded by Joan (Joni) Huff, motion carried.
